Energy storage for Brazil and South America

We are working with partners in Brazil to bring battery energy storage to businesses, telecom networks and the grid across South America.

Where storage is needed

Peak-hour power
In Brazil, many commercial and industrial customers pay much higher rates during the evening peak, and diesel generators are a common way to get through those hours. A battery charged off-peak can take on much of that peak load, with less fuel, noise and exhaust.
Backup for networks
Telecom towers and other critical sites need power through outages, often in places that are hard to reach and costly to service.
A grid adding wind and solar
As renewable generation grows, storage moves energy to the hours when it is needed and helps keep supply steady.

How we work there

We are starting in Brazil and plan to serve neighboring markets from there, including Argentina, Colombia and Peru.

Our partners bring local engineering capability, customer relationships and knowledge of the rules. We bring battery expertise, supplier relationships and project experience.

The aim is the same as in the United States: a complete system from one team, covering the batteries, the engineering, the installation and the commissioning.
